I can't find pictures of this wooden file cabinet in the rough condition we found it. I sanded it vigorously and decided to paint the sides black and leave the natural wood exposed on the drawers. I added the trim around the bottom to cover a few rough edges.
The desk (below) is another recent project. I painted the laminate top which had a few issues. The pulls are not original to this left-handed desk. It is well-constructed and provides a generous workspace and storage for the home office.
